Research Interests

I am a physicist interested in the topics:

  • Physical models of computation.
  • Physical modelling.
  • Nonlinear systems (normal modes, resonances).
  • Physics based machine learning.

During PhD I developed a simple method, called Dynamic Decomposition, that uses recorded responses (natural dynamics) of a mechnical system to solve a class of control problems. You can get the code here. The whole story turned out to be quite related to reservoir computing and that is how I ended up in this lab :). Nowadays I am applying similar ideas to random network s of memristors.
